The Workers' Compensation Department currently consists
of two attorneys with almost 50 years combined experience representing
employees before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.
We provide an initial consultation free of charge to injured workers.
We may then represent you in filing your claim and proceed to
hearing. If your claim has already been accepted as compensable,
we may assist you in obtaining all benefits to which you may be
entitled under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act. In appropriate
cases, we will negotiate a settlement of your claim. Regardless,
workers' compensation is a specialized area of the law and Mr.
Strickler and Mr. Willis have extensive knowledge and experience
in proceedings before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commssion.
In the past, our firm has represented employers, their insurance
carriers and third-party administrators in defense of workers'
compensation cases. However, in recent years, we have chosen to
concentrate our practice solely in representing injured workers.
However, our prior experience in representing both employees and
employers provides us with unique tools in assisting our clients
in their workers' compensation claims.
