Steven
L. Lauer is a partner at Inman & Strickler focusing his practice
in the areas of Real Estate and Community Association Law.
Born in Queens, NY, Mr. Lauer received his B.S. from Bucknell
University in 1987 and his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School
of Law, College of William & Mary in 1990. Upon graduation,
he served a one year clerkship with the 19th Judicial Circuit
Court in Virginia. Since then, Steve has practiced with a boutique
domestic relations practice in Farifax, a nationally-known mass
tort practice in Norfolk, Virginia, and has worked for a large
multinational corporation. Mr. Lauer is a member of the Southeastern
Virginia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (SEVA-CAI).
Mr. Lauer is heavily involved in the local youth soccer scene,
having spent years volunteering as a coach and working as a
referee. Steve also received the inaugural Developmental Soccer
Volunteer of the Year award given by the Virginia Rush in 2004
for his work as an Area Commissioner, and he won the same award
in 2005. Steve joined Inman & Strickler in 2007.
